I think the opening works well. Stairwell shot is great, especially given that there's no formal entry to this school.
Should we rename this "Nurturing Collaborative Leadership" rather than "Nurturing Connections"? That way this clip and it's related scene can focus on this collaborative leadership model and the ways it relies on connecting to people. If we go this route, then maybe the comments about leadership could be spread throughout the clip? Or maybe it will work to just use a piece related to leadership toward the end to bring us back to this topic? (Highlighting leadership may also help us here since we do not have a great deal related to resources; I am hoping the research assistants are gathering those pieces for the "A Closer Look" portion.)
Joan is heartfelt and articulate. I think she really adds a lot!
