I'd like to rename this "Personalizing Intervention" since it seems more accurate. Sorry that wasn't clear to me earlier!
I like opening with the classroom scene. Is there a comment from the teacher that might also work here to show that this is a Regent's prep class? One solution might be to swap this with the piece you used later from the same class (see 1:40) since she mentions the Regents in it.
Re: Ramp Up class: If there are any interactions/comments from students in this class, that would be great! Also, teacher's comments at the end
are a little unclear... maybe keep her mention of class size and omit the rest? (although I do like including the agenda on the board since it illustrates the structure provided in this class, which I think is a key element of Ramp Up).
At about 2:48, Carron addresses over/under students. Maybe swap this with her first comment so it is the first thing we hear from her since that is the focus of the grant?
Following Carron's comments about case conferencing and exploring options for specific students, maybe it will work to insert some of Julie's comments about case conferencing and intervention options from the formerly titled "Personalizing Instruction" clip.
The classroom exchange at 4:05 is strong! Carron's summary at the end works well.
Thanks!
I agree with Marla that we need to include the case conferencing and intervention options from the formerly titled "personalizing instruction" clip.
