I like the interplay between the teacher and coach, and it works well to have the principal introduce the school's history as a lead into the coaching model. Since this is pretty long, what do you think about splitting this into two clips as follows:
First Clip: Reestablishing the School's Science Focus
*Keep explanation of the school's history, ending with a statement about current focus on science if possible...maybe end with "I don't know anyone who has a science coach" as a lead into the next bit?
*then use some of the teacher/coach interview and classroom footage, limiting the focus of their comments to coaching
*Add "Environmental Science" Teacher to Ife's tagline
Second Clip: Teaching Environmental Science
*Focus on environmental science lesson
*support with comments from teacher/coach related to teaching
Maybe use clip titles listed here as onscreen text introducing each clip throughout this case to add focus?
agree about splitting up the clips cause they really are two distinct ideas. I'm not sure about the on-screen text only because the viewer will have just seen the clip title in the case.
With the feel and flow of the Edison case, I think the text is very helpful, not sure if it's necessary here.
Good points. Thanks!
